Aadhar Tal a beautiful heritage site of Jabalpur.

Aadhar Tal is famous in the name of, Adhar Simha Kayastha, who was Rani Durgavati's representative, designated as Byohar of Gond Dynasty . Most likely this Tal was built by Byohar Aadhar Simha. The historians may give more authentic information.

                                                                   Aadhar Tal
I feel sad when Department of Tourism does not give attention on beautiful picnic and tourist spots and develop it to earn revenue. Aadhar Tal {in the name of  Aadhar Simha the Byohar ( PM) of Gond Daynesty ....} in Jabalpur could  be a most beautiful site for picnic, tourists as well for locals for morning and evening walk and jogging. The people residing in the nearby area of Aadhar Tal are facing the area / park for morning and evening walk and Depending on the mercy of JNKVV as it has hundreds acres of land on both sides of NH-7 from Kanchanpur to Pariyat. . This Tal can be surrounded by jogging track and beautiful gardens. This Tal is in attached with the campus of the historical Panch Matha temple of Mahamaya which was renovated by Rani Durgawati . The original Murti was broken by the soldiers of Aurangjeb. The beautiful present Murti was established few decades before. This area has importance with the point of view of history and tourism. The forest of its surrounding is almost finished. The total fault is not of these departments, the credit also goes to our tented politics/ corruption in civil societies also. However to stop encroachment the Tal has been surrounded from two sides by a boundary wall. This is my personal perception . Do not give attention if you do not find it correct .
My humble request to concerned Government bodies of Sate/Center is that they should give attention to develop this heritage as a tourist spot as well as a place for morning and evening walk for the people residing in its surrounding colonies.
