Drop outs from school

Drop outs from school

THE HINDU*FRIDAY,APRIL 12,,2013 PAGE-9
80 million kids drop out without completing basic schooling:UNICEF
" THEY QUIT BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT LEARNING ANYTHING IN SCHOOL"
Now intellectual have also given his statistics in this regard.

On the one hand we talk about Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 and on the other hand costly institution of primary and secondary education are being encouraged to mint profit by private bodies which is the basic cause of deterioration of quality education and the other is good salary of teachers in Govt. School and so substandard teachers are manipulating their entry in such school by using the technology of corruption on the table /under the table and /or linkages. Overall child education has become a big Industry and the most beneficiary wing is publishing Industry and coaching Insttutions organized as well as unorganised.
Our intellectuals are more concerned with the data rather giving policy package and implementation process to overcome the problem. If our intellectuals had been concerned with the future of children this situation could not arise. They did not make an alarm at the right time when the Education policy were being hijacked by Business Class cum politicians. The situation is worsened in the villages as I observed spending a couple of months in the villages of Jabalpur district,MP. The compulsory promotion to the next class without giving proper learning to a child is a slow poison, salt in the roots of a growing plant.
The publications of such articles and books will not solve he purpose. Electoral Reforms and then Reform in Recruitment system of teachers i.e. Education Reforms can save our country.

The whole thing is that the desire of undue advantage has become our moral.

Corrupt practices are very much available in our Educational Institutions also. People may start to do study corrupt practices running at their work place at the first instance instead of criticising others and try to overcome it up to maximum possible extent and then tend towards the dream of zero level. This will certainly develop our society. The Social backwardness and poverty could be removed and bring the harmony among the communities.

Few temples of MP

Few temples of MP
Bandhakpur Shiva-Parvati temple is about 20 kms. From Damo district,MP.It is a temple of medival period. However it has some Kividanties of its origion. I went there one day before the Shiva-ratri. And enjoyed the Bhajan of villagers whole night.Tikamgarh fort is also at a distance of few kilometers. Hundreds of pligrims were not having place to take rest. Our Hindu religious places are lacking such infrastructure badly because these are under the trusts and the accountability has its question mark(?). Another reason is self discipline which is also affecting the maintenance of our religious aces. We have to search solution from where we should start. I think  Gurudwaras are the better schools.
Nothing to add about Mahakaleshwar (in Ujjain) and Omkareshwar (Devas Indoor Road)Jyotirlingas as everybody knows these temples very well.
Another Shivatemple of ancient period is at Roopnath Dham,lBahurivan-Katni Road, has an inscription of Ashoka in which he has insisted to give attention on Business. It is in Pali language. However the Archaeological Survey of India has mentioned it in Hindi on another stone. Through out the year Jharna(water fall) is flowing  from the rocks surrounding the three ponds, each lying about the height of the 20 feet on one on the above. This is a pictorial place, full  of natural beauty. Now the ASI and Department of MP Tourism are trying to enhance its beauty as well as its maintenance.

Bhoramdev Shiva temple is also a unique piece of Architecture of early  11th century AD. This temple was built by the tribal king  Bhoramdev about 25 kms down the thick forest hills from Chilphi,NH-12A,Chatisgarh. Its architecture is almost have the same pattern of Khajuraho. The difference is that its art is finer and black stone was also used. This temple is surrounded by lovely gardens, a beautiful huge pink colour lotus pond. This temple is also under the supervision of ASI.

Bhoramdev Shiva temple

Only 3 kms from Chilphi Bus stand towards east, there is a place called Sagoda Dadar which is very important place as it is called the middle point of the world as the middle point of India is near Sehora, district jabalpur. On the other hand towards west direction moving about 8 kms. we reach a place called Pidha Ghat, near Patel village. Sagoda Dadar and Pidha Ghat are being built as resorts by the Forest Department, Chatissgarh.
The location of these places are on the top of the hills and a view of across the hills can be described only after viewing the scenery.
Here mostly the Bega tribal are in majority but now many migrants of different community and religions have settled mainly near the highway with business purpose.

I must repeat that there is a need of coordinating body of ASI, Forest Dept. and Tourism to protect as well as get returns in the form of revenue out of the investment is made out of public money. ASI cannot earn money without the assistance of Department of Tourism through the publicity of the monument and beautification of the place.
I love forest and interior villages. Perhaps this liking is taking me roaming around which is helping me enriching my knowledge.
There are lovely forests on the way to Seoni from Jabalpur the NH-7 National Highway. In Banjari village there is a Medicinal plants forms. The delicious guava is the specialty of Lakhnadaun Tahseel as I have tasted such a lovely guava after the guavas of Bedaghat in Jabalpur district. The Bus takes about four hours from Madan Mahal to Seoni and there after about two and a half hours from Seoni to Balaghat.

In view of historical Importance there is not much in Balaghat. However, this place is famous for    the tasty variety of rice (viz Kinnor) and manganese (Mn) mines at Vorbeli. The temple of Kalipat at Police line and Dargah of Kwaja Ajmeri at Mahavir gate market are important religious places at Balaghat.  There is a Avantika Bai circle at Bus stand where a beautiful statu has been placed in the memory of the freedom fighter Avantika Bai. In the surroundings of Balaghat there are many places having historical importance. Lanji is one of them. I went to Koteswar Mahadev temple on Riksha moving two kilometer from the Gond palace at Lanji.

The architecture appears of 11th century AD and the Pujari of the temple told that this temple was built by Kalturi king.
However the ASI has not mentioned the history of this temple which is necessary. The ASI has hang the notice board that to build any construction in its surrounding is a criminal act and very interestingly a godown of Indane Gas is just at distance of 25meters which was built in 2002 and could not be removed till date. Why the Govt. is waiting and for what? Who is responsible for such act? Is our democracy? No, this is the leniency and misuse of our Noble Democracy.
On observing the repair work of the temple, it appears that the archeologist must be absent at the time of repair work and the contractor Karigar have not taken care of the architect of its originality and putting the statues at the right places.

There is lack of flower plants and trees in the campus and in its surroundings. The pond adjesecent to the temple should also be decorated by horticulture and boating can be arranged by the Depat. of Tourism .

Nohata:

Shiva Temple Nohta is on the right side of the Jabalpur -Damoh Highway. It is in Damoh District. This temple’s campus is lovely and the architeture of the temple is beautiful on the pattern of Kajuraho but not exactly. The ASI as per its traditional style has put Notice Board but the history of the temple is not mentioned.

Many of the monuments are in the interior of villages. These monuments must be approachable for a common man at its glorious time.

Presently I am quoting Vankhandeshwar in Dhanshula, Tarainy and  10 Km. in its south of it (crossing the river Kwari) KAKAN MATH of 11th century AD in the District of Muraina,Village Sihonia ( in 11th Century it was the capital of Kushwaha kings), MP which I visited on 13th July 2013.
