corruption

Hope, you would please, spare some of your precious time to share few of my thoughts, which are as under:
Discipline is a systematic arrangement as well as functioning of all the channels of a System/Organ. Discipline and Good Governance are interlinked. Yes, discipline is an attribute of doing work done in time. Every body likes to get his/her work done in time then why this attribute is found in scarcity? Really this is a very valid question and difficult to get solution, but nothing is impossible. Self-discipline is the only alternative. However the biggest obstacle is the desire of getting undue advantage and to get rid of from it is not an easy task. This desire of achieving undue advantage leads to Corruption.
Corruption have many forms not only in the money terms. To snatch a right of the other by using social and political linkages/pressure have become very common form of corruption nowadays. {Even for seeking an admission for child in a reputed school / selection and getting appointment letter, this tool is used by the capable person among the general public. Some time people may be seen busy in Hospital searching shortcut route to get appointment and/for proper care with the Doctors leaving behind people waiting for their turn in the queue. These all are very common examples of different forms of undue comparative advantage not different than corruption and to overcome it we have to learn lessons of discipline , moral and ethics and the solution is to remember the life histories of heroes the model as the responsible and civilized people, not only of India but from different parts of the world which could give guidance to us and the next generation}.

No Government can remove the Corruption until and unless an ideology of self-discipline is spread. It is difficult but not impossible to locate the ends from where the remedial process could be started. In my opinion there are only two ends from where this insect is getting nourishment and growing day by day. These two ends are Bureaucrats & Parliamentarians and Teachers/ Educationists. The Parliamentarians and Bureaucrats run the system of the Government and the Teachers / Educationists are the source who prepare the next generation to make them capable to bear the responsibility of the nation building on their shoulders in future.
Corruption in India has taken a lead over the honesty and devotion, which has become the topic of the old golden days. From top to bottom corruption has entered into the roots. The variation in it may be seen in the form of degree. In government
sector only those departments are termed as honest which have no public dealing otherwise the story is quite opposite. In our democratic country, Elections whether General Election of LOK SABHA, Assembly Election at State level or election of local bodies/Municipal corporation election etc. has been indulged in multiple forms of corruption. It has become a type of seasonal viral fever with the variation in the degree of temperature of corruption according to the level of election .The trend is this that most of the representatives of the public who stand in the battle certainly do not have the moral to serve the masses rather they fulfill their dreams of becoming rich before the next election.  Government funds are treated in that way only. These are not spent for the purpose. Much Expenditure is shown on paper and less practicality exists. The situation has become worse for the last two- three decades... It is only because the administrative machinery at the top itself is corrupt. That is the reason that India figures among top corrupt nations in the world. Otherwise there is no dearth of natural resources, talent in the field of science and technology, agriculture, tele-communication, computer technology etc. If the corrupt people of the country occupies the highest responsible position and does not justifies to it the resultant would obviously not be in the welfare of the country. Such people misuse their power and provide shelter to corrupt people for their vested interests. Every political party put ideology that the ticket for contesting elections should be given to the person of good image/character in the society but these political parties do not adopt this ethics in practice. None of them appears to follow these norms in real sense rather they do not want to bear risk of loosing the seat of that particular constituency/area by giving ticket to an honest person against the powerful corrupt candidate of the opponent party. There is a saying “ where there is a will there is a way”. If the Government really wants to overcome the corruption and desire to tend towards Zero level, the Electoral Reform is the First step, which no parliamentarian would like. Actually all the three viz. Parliamentarian - Business Houses - Beaurocracy are inter connected and balancing to each other and give a shape of the compact triangle. None of the three will like the Electoral Reform and the situation will continue unless some alternative is searched to break this triangle.

The preaching of our Heroes and the values of their lives should be taught to the students of not of the primary/basic classes but even to the higher classes too. The Education should be kept away from the dirty politics. There should not be alteration in the facts and figures of the text on the change of Governments. The recruitment process of teachers should be strict and transparent. Education, nowadays becoming costlier as without attending Coaching Institution it has become difficult to compete an Exam as the teachers are not giving due care in their schedule classes (This is the reason of increasing stress on students). The reason is obvious, as they have to pay loan taken at the time of giving bribe for getting the employment. This cannot be rectified before Electoral Reform as the terminal point of bribe is interconnected to the above-mentioned triangle.
The quiz is this, how the Electoral Reform could be done, if the above-mentioned triangle does not want?
Before talking about eradication of Poverty we should find some solution to overcome Corruption. Number of policies and funds are available under different schemes for rural development and for weaker section but only 15% money is reaching to them for their development as per the wordings of Late Prime Minister Shri Rajeev Gandhi ji. We know the facts but do not want to adopt the right policy due to vested interest and hunger of Power. Opposition means just to oppose the ruling Govt., whether the issue is right or wrong….

People may start to do study corrupt practices running at their work place at the first instance instead of crticising others and try to overcome it up to maximum possible extent and then tend towards the dream of zero level.

The whole thing is that the desire of undue advantage has become our moral.

How do you like it?

A Jelly fish sometimes swallows a snail. The snail because of its shell stays protected and alive inside the jelly fish. To sustain itself, the snail starts eating the jelly fish from inside and keeps growing.A day comes when it consumes the entire jelly fish and the jelly fish is no more.

Corruption does the same thing to a nation. It eats from within till the nation is NO MORE.

It is the duty of all of us to do self efforts in this direction for the betterment of our Nation instead of watching that others will start ..

Great learning and superior abilities, should you ever possess them, will be of little value and small Estimation, unless Virtue, Honour, Truth and Integrity are added to them.

…..The Parliament is the law making as well as the enforcement body. The members of this important body, who represent our country and run its system should fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements viz. qualification, character record through police verification, etc. before contesting the General Election (and similarly the follow up for Assembly Elections of the States). Even the fourth class Government employee gets an appointment letter after police verification, medical tests and submitting witness. So, the political boss should clear the minimum eligibility test/s.

With regards to the Women’s Reservation Bill, all the political parties should take initiatives on their own as per their respective ideology and try to follow and give tickets to the women candidates for contesting Elections, accordingly. The effective results could be drawn with some general consensus of the society and a rational study could be done in more practical form. In this manner the controversial discussion could be reduced at the time of framing the final shape of the bill.

Every Political party talks about moral and ethics and have only one opinion that candidates for contesting election should be chosen of good record. But, it is the compulsion of the rival political parties to give tickets to the tainted candidate of higher degree of influence in that constituency than to its opponent. However our Election Commission becoming stronger day by day to arrange the elections in a fair manner. We should not forget to the contribution of former Chief Election Commissioner Shri T.N.Sesson who highlighted the power of the Election Commission. Unfortunately, the Election Commission does not possess the power of doing Electoral Reforms.

The quiz is this, how the Electoral Reform could be done, if the above-mentioned triangle does not want?

Reservation Policy for whom
It is most important to find out the root of the fight of reservation issue for the other OBCs category between the ruling political party ( and reason of not opposing to it by the opposition parties) and the Youth for Equality run under the leadership of medical students/doctors of Medical Colleges supported by the students of different disciplines of Higher Studies. The answer of the prime question why reservation is needed and for whom, is the solution of this tussle. The concept of reservation was for the upliftment of segment of the deprived class of the society from their socially and economically backwardness. Once the part of such segment has come up and joined the main stream of the system they certainly be cut off from this assistance. Other wise this will create another Neo-class of Manuwad of distorted form.
Manuwad in principle was not wrong. It had classified the society on the basis of job linked with merit-oriented society and no job was demarcated to any segment. The job distribution was based on ability. It was made dirty as per the history; the religious and political leaders for their vested interest to achieve their goals misuse any religion. Due to the vested interest of the political and religious leaders Verna system by birth might have started. Manuwad is not only seen in Hindu Society only. It is very much has been inducted in Islamic Community specially in India. The most deprived class are women of Islamic community. They are facing gender inequlity more than any other community.
So, the affected parties are the people of General Category and the Neo –Class of the OBCs. The Neo-class of the OBCs are very small percentage of the total OBCs. With the reservation policy this limited class of OBCs will eat the cake of their entire community. No body is bothering for the upliftment of the rest of the OBCs where the primary education has not touched.
So, instead of generating new policies in the name of reservation, the Central Government and the State Governments should implement the existing policies for the social upliftment/ eradication of Poverty of the OBCs/SC/ST and weaker section of the society and provide all the possible facilities for the primary and secondary Education: school with education of equal standard, to the deprived class of this segment so that, theyouth of this society could be made of the competence to compete with the youth of main stream/general category.

The whole thing is that the desire of undue advantage has become our moral.

Before talking about eradication of Poverty we should find some solution to overcome Corruption. People may start to do study corrupt practices running at their work place at the first instance instead of criticising others and try to overcome it up to maximum possible extent and then tend towards the dream of zero level. This will certainly develop our society. The Social backwardness and poverty could be removed and bring the harmony among the communities.

Electoral Reform is the need of our present democracy.….. The Parliament is the law making and the Government of India is the enforcement body. The members of this important bodies, who represent our country and run its system should fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements viz. qualification, character record through police verification, etc. before contesting the General Election (and similarly the follow up for Assembly Elections of the States and their civic bodies as well). Even the fourth class Government employee gets an appointment letter after police verification, medical tests and submitting witness. So, the political boss should clear the minimum eligibility test/s. In other words the eligibility of a candidate should be examined/scrutinized at par of a Government servant because the parliamentarians are getting handsome salary, pensionary benefit even his first turn ended before completing the term of five years in case Parliament dissolves by one reason or the other while a government employee is entitled for pensionery benefits only after completing a regular job of twenty years. Secondly , there should be total ban on taking donations directly or indirectly by the political parties from the business men/Business Houses as per the characteristics of a businessmen that it invest only keeping in view of a thought of multiple returns which motivates/ acts as a catalyst to involve to the rest of the machinery of the system  towards  corruption. So, the remedy for this could be the allocation of Public fund to be distributed by Election Commission to the political parties depending upon the standing of the status of the political party whether it belongs to National level or regional level etc. which should be worked out/studied.

The quiz is this, how the Electoral Reform could be done, if the triangle consisting of Parliamentarian-Business Houses- Beaureocrates, does not want? >Some social activists/workers like Medha Patkar and others should have to come forward for the issue of Electoral Reforms and convince the Government about the need of it so that the tainted politicians should be stopped from entering parliament and state assemblies. They have to make the common masses aware of the need of electoral reforms and a movement should start like a freedom struggle. If a person is not getting his rights and justice/justice in time, he is not living in a free and democratic country in real sense.

I agree that people are not aware about the 1969 Act of section 49-0 of our Constitution but few of the educated people who are aware with it , they do not follow due the fear if their negative vote is not kept confidential, the Dadas(bad) and Bhaies(Worse) contestants may give lessons. So, the Electoral Reform is the only solution.

Nowadays either hawker or Prime minister use quoting a word ‘corruption’ during even short duration of 5 minutes gossip or lecture. Every body is fed up with corruption simultaneously no one can claim that he is free form this fever. The question is of degree only which depends on two factors (a) > availability of misusing the opportunity and (b) quantum of courage to avail it. So, It is my suggestion to the intellectual community to stop doing study on viz. political corruption, corruption in Judiciary, corruption in Police /administrative machinery, corruption in particular pubic sector unit, private sector or corruption is complementary to public sector and private sector etc. etc rather they should do study on Corruption Management if we want to improve Human Resources & Organizational Behavior. This study will give you the guidelines of remedial process to overcome this BHYANKAR Cancer of the Nation as this study will let you know the structure and channel system of its operation and its spreading. However a scientific study is one thing, which becomes useful when technology is involved to make its proper utility. In case if the technology is in scarce or not available, we should not stop doing scientific study.
