Village Khiraini, near Barela, in the interior between NH-12A and NH-7,,Jabalpur

Village Khiraini, near Barela, in the interior  between NH-12A and NH-7,,Jabalpur, is a special place w.r.t. to the geographical point of view. I found the surrounding of this place only in the Jjabalpur - Mandala region which is just like the villages of Bhind-Murina flooded with the Tilas ( hills) of Mud(otherwise mostly the  fertile land is  surrounded by rocky mud /rocks). But , now the peoples are demolishing these muddy hills to increase agricultural land similarly as it is being done in Chambal ki Ghati at the cost of deforestation.

I spent one full day in the Village Khiraini and spent night in the open agricultural field and latter in the the hut in late night when the heavy rain started falling and the water was pouring from the holes of the roof. In the evening I asked the lady of the farmer to pluck one pumpkin and taught her to prepare "Lauki ka Lachcha" a sweet dish out of that so that she could earn money at the time of festivals.festivals.
Yadav community is in majority in the village Khiraini and have business of Dairy along with Agriculture.
