Chabi village, Dindori District, MP

27.01.2015

 Chabi village

We reached Sahapura via Kundam Road (MP). From here we took left turn for Manikpur village about 10 km. from Sahapura.. This is basically a tribal village, it is different that the tribal population is now only 5% and mostly this remote area has been occupied by migrants and opened shops of the items of day a to day requirements . The main crop of the Banjar(stone mix soil) land is KODO & KUTTI.. Another 15 Km. from Manikpur a place is known as Ghughri which is famous for Lata Shankar temple and cave. Due to lack of time I could not visit this place.
We return from here to Sahapura  Bus Stand and taken a left turn for Niwas Road. We took again a left turn after moving about two km. for Mahidwani. We taken a tea break at Mahidwani for half an hour then moved onwards. Four km. from here we reached Sirsi and then two more km. to Kathouta. From Kathouta if we take right turn and move about a km. there is a beautiful pond named Kikar Kund, surrounded by pictorial scenery. However due to my friend who was not feeling well we could not go there.  In my next visit I must go there and take some photographs.
From Kathota we have to move about twenty km. onwards to reach Chabi village. Just before 10 km. from Chabi there is beautiful dense forest valley starts on right side of the road and ends at a lake. People may enjoy picnic at this pictorial scenery.

Robert's Cave, Deharadun

Robert'sCave, Dehradun: It is about five Kilometer from Sahatra Dhara, Dehradun.Uttrakhand. It is a beautiful narrow  cave with big opening -the two hills are joining at height of about sixty feet  and at some points are little bit away and so the cave have sun light. throughout the passage about 50 meters.

The water which is flowing continuously in the cave is hot at some places and at some places it is cold.
When we reached at the end of the cave there was a heavy waterfall from a height of about 7 feet from a hol

from where sunlight was also falling and making the water golden and some time reflection of rainbow colours.. We took bath and enjoyed. I went there in the year 1994. It was a matter of surprise that the people of Dehradun were hardly knowing about that place. Yes it is in a remote area and we have to reach there after crossing agricultural fields. The entrance of the cave recalls the Novel of Devikinandan Khana"CHANDRAKANTA"
