The capital of Meghalaya is Shillong. Meghalaya was previously part of Assam, but on 21 January 1972, the districts of Khasi, Garo and Jaintia hills became the new state of Meghalaya

Robert's Cave, Deharadun

Robert'sCave, Dehradun: It is about five Kilometer from Sahatra Dhara, Dehradun.Uttrakhand. It is a beautiful narrow  cave with big opening -the two hills are joining at height of about sixty feet  and at some points are little bit away and so the cave have sun light. throughout the passage about 50 meters.

The water which is flowing continuously in the cave is hot at some places and at some places it is cold.
When we reached at the end of the cave there was a heavy waterfall from a height of about 7 feet from a hol

from where sunlight was also falling and making the water golden and some time reflection of rainbow colours.. We took bath and enjoyed. I went there in the year 1994. It was a matter of surprise that the people of Dehradun were hardly knowing about that place. Yes it is in a remote area and we have to reach there after crossing agricultural fields. The entrance of the cave recalls the Novel of Devikinandan Khana"CHANDRAKANTA"

Jellahary, Barhi, District Katni, MP

.
JELLAHARY, Barahi,District Katni, MP
About 8 kms from Bahuriban , Dist. Katni, towards Bakal, there is a village named Barahi, Devtha Jellary. From Devtha Jellary if we move on its platue(PATHAR) about two kms. we reach a place where round balls of stone fall from the rocks into  the Kund (now the water level of the Kund is decreasing due to deforestation) which is a natural geological  phenomena to which people are now started linking with religion with their mutual interest and naming this place as Jellary Dham of Shiva to encash the religious sentiments of the public .The forest of this place is almost vanished. Now on behalf of a Sadhu the Sarpanch is encouraging the blast on the hills and building Ashram as well as destroying the remains of forest. What is being done by Forest Department? Only God knows. I reported it personally to the Forest Research and conservation,Badshah Halwai, jabalpur.  This is the loot of National wealth rather disturbing the balance of nature.
